I’m Berend van Eerden, a music producer and audio engineer who also likes to design audio products. I manage my time between recording in the studio and building studio gear.

What’s the idea behind Singular Audio?
It started with me building stuff to use in my studio. Making music is so connected to technology these days, and a lot of the times those two go together really well. But there is also a lot of gear on the market which is made by engineers who seem to look at gear from a primarily technical perspective, which is not the same as real world use.
So with every product I try to keep that in the back of my mind. I want to be able to feel like these products really add something to the creative process, because they make you interact with the music in a different way or because they just have a very pleasing sound and feel.
