The Tubedrve is a high end tube saturation device disguised as a pedal.


Building on the architecture used in the Tubedrve modules, this pedal uses a 6AS6 tube at high voltage (230VDC) to provide vacuum tube distortion. This high voltage is normally only found in guitar amps and rack gear, but is needed to provide the best possible distortion characteristic.

The pedal itself operates on a standard 9VDC pedal power supply.

Both line and guitar level inputs are accepted and able to be used: this pedal can be used as a guitar pedal but also for synths, keys or with mixing.

The distortion amount can be set from subtle saturation to full blown distortion.

triode or pentode

A switch allows for the tube to be set up as a triode or pentode. A led lights up the tube when it’s being overdriven.

Biasing control of the tube allows for either symmetrical or asymmetrical clipping.

The 6AS6 tube is socketed which allows for easy replacement. The footswitch is on a standard connector, allowing replacement without soldering if ever needed.

    I became a fan of the Tubedrve 500-S one and a half years ago while I was looking for an external saturation unit. The sound of this unit was simply pleasant! But what kept me from buying one was the expense of this formate in general.

    Now the Tubedrve pedal is one of my favourite pieces of gear and one of the best purchases I made since I started to set up my home studio. This pedal unit is an allrounder, it’s made to be used with guitar, synths, base, DAW, before, after, in the middle, to boost or sizzle, to be extreme or where ever your creativity flows! I do not keep a lot of gear since it blocks my creativity and overwhelms me, that’s why I love equipment that do a specific thing and are usable in different situations. This is a personal preference of mine but this pedal generally does so well any way! About the build quality: it leaves nothing to be desired! And the look… amazing, elegant and inspiring! The pricing is also fair for a boutique product! The fact that you can have a high quality saturation unit in a pedal format and not in a rack unit or 500-S is amazing.
    I am for sure biased but I love Singular Audio for a reason!

    P.S.: And that tube-saturation-sound-thing…this pedal delivers!
